This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the kudu.cash website, why we use them and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include local storage and pixels. They can be strictly necessary (required for the site to work) or optional (for analytics, personalisation or advertising).
2. Cookies we use
| Type | Purpose | Consent | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Core functions: security, load balancing, remembering your language choice | Not required | Session or up to 12 months |
| Analytics (cookieless) | Aggregated, anonymous visit statistics via Umami — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles | Not required (no personal data / no device identifier stored) | Not applicable |
3. Analytics — how we measure without tracking you
We use Umami, a privacy-first analytics tool, to understand which pages are useful. It does not use cookies, does not store a device identifier, does not follow you across other sites, and does not build a profile of you. The statistics we see are aggregated and anonymous.
4. What we don't do
- No advertising or marketing cookies
- No third-party tracking or social-media cookies
- No sale or sharing of browsing data with ad networks
5. Cookies set by third parties
Some pages may embed content from third parties (for example a video). If you interact with such content, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. Regulated services provided by our partners (for example the on-ramp or a payout partner) run under their own websites and cookie policies.
6. Managing cookies
Because we only set strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is required. You can still control or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings — for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, look under "Privacy" or "Cookies". Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
7. Changes
If we ever introduce optional cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first, with an easy way to accept or refuse.
